Yes, cos we all want a nice chocolate dessert in summer but we do not want to turn on the oven, so the slow cooker is always a great idea.
How long to cook brownies in a slow cooker?
If you follow this recipe the perfect time to get a gooey texture is 1 hour and 30 minutes on HIGH.
The slow cooker I use is the 3,5 L manual Crockpot.
Easy slow cooker brownies

90 g butter
60 g vegetable oil
90 g sugar
90 g brown sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanila extract
100 g flour
2 tablespoons coffee (expresso)
3 g salt
180 g milk chocolate, cut in chunks
150 g dark chocolate (85%)
20 g cacao powder
Directions
- Line with parchment paper the slow cooker and preheat on HIGH.
- Melt the dark chocolate and the butter.
- In a large bowl combine both sugars and eggs. Whisk for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the oil and mix for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the melted chocolate and butter, mix to combine.
- Add vanilla, coffee and salt. Mix well.
- Add the flour and cocoa powder. Mix just until combined, do not over mix.
- Fold in the milk chocolate chunks.
- Pour the batter into the slow cooker.
- Place a clear kitchen towel under the lid and close it.
- Cook for 1 hour and 30 minutes in HIGH.
- Rest for 30 minutes and ready to enjoy it!
