  • 1/2 pear diced

  • Bacon, diced

  • Fresh oregano

  • Olive oil

  • Whipped feta
  • 200 g feta cheese (1 block)

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

  • 60 ml water

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper


  • Whipped feta
  • Break up the block of feta and place in a food processor.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients: honey, oregano, thyme, water, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. Process until smooth and creamy.
  • Heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil in a small pan, high heat.
  • Add the bacon and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat until crispy.
  • Add diced pear and cook for 1 minute.
  • Place the whipped feta in a platter and top with the pear and bacon.
  • Add some fresh oregano and drizzle with olive oil. Serve with some bread.
