No need to be vegetarian nor vegan to have this book. I think it is a great way to eat vegetables in a different way. We all tend to eat vegetables cooked in a similar way again and again, why not try a tomato curry instead of a tomato soup?
Easy to follow recipes, no long ingredient lists but with lots of flavour.
Most of the recipes have photos but not all of them.
Noodles: glass noodles, soba, ramen, rice sticks… what is the difference between them? and how to cook them. All the basic information you need to know to add some delicious noodles to your meals.
Ingredients: What is … choi sum, mirin, galangal, kombu? Where can I buy it? At the end of the book you will find all the info about this “new” ingredients and where to buy them.
But no worries as you won’t need to buy all those ingredients to cook most of the recipes. You will be able to cook most of the with these basic ingredients: garlic, soy sauce, curry, rapeseed oil and ginger.

My own opinion about this CookBook:
I think it is a great book to enjoy regular vegetables in a different way. Love that the recipes do not have a long list of ingredients and you might already have all of them at home.
You might need to buy a few new ingredients to be able to cook the recipes but it is not like Dumplings And Noodles, where the grocery list you need to make to be able to cook the recipes is rather large.

Of course I did not tried all the recipes from the book yet, but the once I can recommend so far are:

I love how this cookbook makes it easy to incorporate vegan and vegetarian meals into my cooking! It’s great that the recipes have helpful information about new ingredients and photos of most recipes. What are some other ways to make vegan and vegetarian dishes more interesting?
Could not agree more! Adding spices and new ingredients that we might not use regularly makes it so much fun. I am still dreaming about the tomato tartare I had last friday at a restaurant in Madrid, way better than any beef version I have ever tasted. For sure a recipe I want to test and make at home. It is so interesting to play and try vegetables in new ways, so much to explore!
